Ramin Asheghan, P.Eng. is the Chief Executive Officer of AccuCan Testing & Engineering Ltd. and a Civil and Structural Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction management, and engineering education. Throughout his career, he has combined technical expertise, practical field experience, and leadership to deliver reliable engineering solutions for complex infrastructure and industrial projects.
In addition to his industry experience, Ramin is a faculty member in the School of Construction at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where he teaches structural design, strength of materials, soil mechanics, concrete technology, construction administration, and environmental engineering. He holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with APEGA, is CCIL-certified for concrete testing, and holds Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certification.
As CEO of AccuCan Testing & Engineering, Ramin is committed to delivering innovative, practical, and technically sound engineering solutions while fostering a culture of quality, integrity, and continuous improvement. Mazyar Rastbin is the President and Founder of Accurate Materials Testing & Engineering Ltd. (AMTE) in British Columbia. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mazyar founded AMTE in 2015 with a clear vision: to build a company founded on Integrity, Quality, and Ingenuity, delivering dependable materials testing and engineering services to the construction industry.
Under his leadership, AMTE has grown into one of British Columbia’s trusted materials testing firms, supporting hundreds of successful residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout the Lower Mainland. His commitment to technical excellence, responsive client service, and continuous improvement has earned the confidence of developers, contractors, consultants, and municipalities alike.
In 2026, Mazyar expanded this vision beyond British Columbia through a strategic collaboration with AccuCan Testing & Engineering Ltd. in Alberta. This partnership combines the expertise and resources of both organizations, allowing clients to benefit from consistent, high-quality engineering and materials testing services across Western Canada.
